Brief Introduction
Mr. Yu has been practicing in intellectual property law for 12 years (including 3 years overseas working experience). Having worked for not only multinational companies like Samsung, but also the state administrative departments such as the State Intellectual Property Office and the State General Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, he is very experienced in intellectual property litigation, antitrust review and litigation, technical contract disputes, core patents prosecution and portfolio management, patent licensing and transaction and patent standardization.
Mr. Yu has gained significant insights from his experience in handling IP matters of great influence both at home and abroad, including the global patent litigation between Apple and Samsung, Supreme People’s Court’s annual top 10 IP cases, the largest patent infringement litigation in the internet area of China, the IP litigation with the biggest sum of claim in China, antitrust compliance review in M&A of multinational as well as in SEP licensing, SEP filing and evaluation, and large-scale patent licensing and transactions.
In addition, Mr. Yu also provides clients with non-contentious services including intellectual property due diligence, FTA, moot court, patent infringement analysis, and drafting and review of patent license agreements.
