Brief Introduction
Mr. Norman Nip is a senior counsel at the Hong Kong bar with a broad civil practice and expertise in commercial, banking and securities litigation. He has acted for the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission and parties under investigation in a number of cases before the courts and the specialist tribunals. Mr. Nip has also served as an expert witness on securities laws in offshore proceedings. He is currently serving as the Vice Chairman of the Committee on Arbitration of the Hong Kong Bar Association. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a member of the HKIAC List of Arbitrators. Mr. Nip has sat as an arbitrator and acted as counsel in various cross-border commercial disputes. He has also served as a deputy judge of the High Court of Hong Kong.
