James Hope is a partner and Head of Vinge’s dispute resolution group in Stockholm. He is a dual‑qualified Swedish Advokat and English Solicitor‑ Advocate, with over 20 years’ experience of dispute resolution, including 10 years’ experience from practising in London. He acts both as counsel and as arbitrator in international arbitrations, both in Sweden and abroad, and his recent cases have involved Swedish, English, Californian, Chinese, Russian, Italian and Finnish laws, amongst others. He is a guest lecturer at Stockholm, Uppsala and Edinburgh Universities. He is also a memberof the Board of the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce.
