Mr. Liu got LL.M from Harvard Law School and LL.B from the Law School of Peking University. Mr. Liu is an attorney in China and the State of New York in the U.S., a registered foreign lawyer in Hong Kong, and has worked for Skadden, Arps and Clifford Chance.Mr. Liu has participated in arbitrations at the Beijing Arbitration Commission(BAC), the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Committee (CIETAC), the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA) from 1990. He is also an arbitrator of CIETAC, SCIA and Nanjing Arbitration Commission/ Jiangsu (Nanjing) International Commercial Arbitration Centre. Mr. Liu acts as an independent director for three public companies: Beijing Emerging Eastern Aviation Equipment Co.,Ltd. (新兴装备002933.SZ)，Baoding Lucky Innovative Materials Co., Ltd. (乐凯新材300446.SZ)，and Hubei Huaqiang High-Tech Co., Ltd. (华强科技688151.SH). He is also a member of the Harvard Law School Alumni Leadership Council and the Center for China and Globalization (CCG ).
