Charles Qin has 29 years of practice experience. He has been active in dispute resolution for the recent 10 years. From 1997 to 1998, he undertook a Practical Training Scheme for Chinese Lawyers sponsored by the British government. He co-founded Llinks Law Offices shortly after his completion of the Practical Training Scheme. He was regularly recommended a leading lawyer in dispute resolution by The Legal 500 and Asialaw Leading Lawyers, and named a “Dispute Resolution Star” by Benchmark Asia Pacific. His highlights include the HuaAn Funds v Lehman Brothers case concerning the first QDII Fund in China and OTC derivatives. Moreover, he has acted/is acting as a PRC law expert witness in eight cases before foreign courts or international arbitral tribunals including HKIAC, SCC, High Court of Hong Kong, and Israeli court. In 2006, he was awarded one of “China’s Hot 25 Lawyers” by Asian Legal Business. Charles is currently a panel arbitrator of SHIAC, Shanghai Arbitration Commission, and SICA, a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and CICPA.
