Mr Chris Chi is now working as the Group Vice President at Mxis Group, responsible for legal affairs, risk control, auditing and government affairs. Before that he worked for some 20 over years for Fortune 500 companies – Schlumberger and IBM respectively. He held the position of Director of Legal for Schlumberger China and North Asia and Regional General Counsel for IBM Greater China Group. Mr. Chi has nearly 30 years of experience in energy laws, IT laws, commercial affairs and business management. He handled various complex matters in legal, commercial and management projects and accumulated rich experience and expertise in the areas of energy industry, IT, merger and acquisition, engineering and construction, foreign investment in China and dispute resolution etc. He is holding law degrees in China and North America, qualified to practice law in China, and admitted as arbitrator in quite a few arbitration bodies including Beijing Arbitration Commission, China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission and Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre.
