Brief Introduction
Ms Li previously worked at the Beijing IP Court and Beijing No.2 Intermediate People’s Court for nine years. She presided over or participated in more than 500 trials relating to various civil and commercial cases. In addition, she heard over 300 intellectual property cases involving trademarks, copyright and patents. Through her participation in the Mi Box copyright infringement case and the Hunan TV v. Tsinghua Tongfang copyright infringement dispute, among other cases, she has gained a lot of insight, knowledge and experience in handling internet copyright infringement cases. Moreover, she also has rich experience in handling unfair competition disputes, which she gained from the unfair competition and false advertising disputes between Sogou and Qihoo, and Baidu unfair competition and infringement disputes. Through handling so many cases, she has accumulated abundant experience in resolving civil, commercial and intellectual property disputes. She is familiar with filing cases, evidence preservation, trials and appeals. Handling disputes from a judicial perspective has given Ms Li the ability and experience to understand the critical factors that affect the outcome of disputes.
Ms Li joined Lifang & Partners in 2018. Her main practice areas include intellectual property and competition law. She has participated in over a dozen litigations covering intellectual property, anti-unfair competition and antitrust law. Clients that she has served include large state-owned enterprises or Global 500 companies, such as CRCC, Datang Telecom, LIER-Chemical, Samsung Electronics and others. Furthermore, she is the permanent legal advisor for several companies.
