1Mr Turner is a practising advocate at the Johannesburg Bar and is a member of the management committee at the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa (AFSA). He has a commercial practice with the majority of the matters involving large and complex disputes and is regularly involved in matters arising in the following industries: Communications; Energy; Construction and Engineering; Insurance and Financial Services.
2In addition to the briefs received to act on behalf of or to advise clients in the Courts and in arbitration proceedings, he receives regular appointments as arbitrator. Mr Turner is also a qualified mediator and actively promotes the use of mediation in the resolution of commercial disputes.
