Laurence Boisson de Chazournes

Brief Introduction
Laurence Boisson de Chazournes is a Professor at the University of Geneva and has been a Visiting Professor in numerous universities. She is the Director of the Geneva LL.M. in International Dispute Settlement (MIDS).
She is an experienced arbitrator who regularly sits for various international arbitration bodies, such as the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA), the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC), and the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). In addition, she was a member of the CAS ad hoc Division during the PyeongChang Olympic Games. Moreover, she served as a chairperson for WTO arbitration panels on pre-shipment inspections.
Laurence Boisson de Chazournes frequently acts as Advocate and Counsel before the International Court of Justice (ICJ), the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS) and other dispute settlement fora. She has authored and edited thirty-three books and has written over 270 articles and contributions to collective books.
