Brief Introduction
Amanda J. Lee is an Arbitrator at LML Arbitration and a Consultant at Costigan King with particular focus on the automotive, construction, financial services, and waste management sectors. She is admitted to practice in England and Wales, and to the Bars of New York and the U.S. Supreme Court. Amanda is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and serves as sole and party-nominated arbitrator in domestic and international arbitral proceedings, both ad hoc and subject to institutional arbitration rules.  She is a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Law, UK, and the founder of Careers in Arbitration and ARBalance. She holds numerous advisory roles, including serving as a member of the Advisory Council of ArbitralWomen and Indian Women in International Arbitration, and acts as an Ambassador for Racial Equality for Arbitration Lawyers. She regularly publishes and speaks on topics relating to commercial and investment arbitration. Amanda was a recipient of the CPR’s 2022 Outstanding Contribution to Diversity in ADR Award and is recognized for her expertise by LawDragon and as a Future Leader by Who’s Who: Arbitration. Her latest publication, focusing on diversity and inclusion in investor-state dispute resolution, will be published by the American Review of International Arbitration in 2024.
