Sebastián Mejía, Deputy to the Secretary General of CIAM (external advisor) since 2023.Sebastián has more than a decade of experience in international arbitration and has intervened in more than forty arbitrations as arbitrator, lawyer and secretary or court assistant. Sebastián has been practicing as an independent lawyer and arbitrator since 2021. With previously, he was a Senior Associate in the international arbitration team of Allen & Overy in London and Associate of the international arbitration team of Baker McKenzie in Madrid. Sebastián is a registered lawyer in Spain (ICAM), ATorney-at-law in New York and Solicitor of England and Wales. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institutions of Arbitrators and he was coordinator of the CEA-40 in the period 2019-2020.
