Eun Young Park is an exceptionally highly recognized dispute resolution lawyer, with expertise in international arbitration. He has more than 30 years of experience in international dispute resolution and has served as an arbitrator under the rules of various arbitral institutions and the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules. His arbitration practice covers a broad legal spectrum, including mergers and acquisitions, finance and insurance, infrastructure, pharmaceutical and bio-industry, energy, joint ventures, high-tech and intellectual property, and overseas investments.
Dr Park served as Vice-President and a Court Member of the LCIA. He also served as Vice-Chair of the IBA Arbitration Committee and as a founding co-chair of the IBA Asia Pacific Arbitration Group. He has also served on the board of the Korean Council of International Arbitration and as an Executive Member of the Seoul International Dispute Resolution Center. He currently serves as a Member of the SIAC Court of Arbitration and a member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR.
Dr Park served as a Judge of the Seoul District Court before joining Kim & Chang where he co-chaired the firm’s International Arbitration and Litigation Group.
