Daniel Allen is an international arbitration specialist, recognized for his leadership in the Japanese international arbitration market by Chambers and Partners, Who’s Who Legal, The Legal 500 and others. He is an experienced advocate, and acts as lead counsel in some of the largest and highest-stakes disputes in the region, including international commercial arbitrations, investor-State disputes, and construction cases. He has represented clients in arbitrations under the ICSID, UNCITRAL, ICC, SIAC, CAS, and JCAA rules, among others. In addition to his work as counsel, he also sits as arbitrator.
