Mr. Ayumu Iijima is an attorney at law licensed in Japan (1994) and the state of New York (2001) and specialized in patent law and other intellectual property laws in relation to both litigation and transaction works. In his career, after graduating from Kyoto University and working for a Japanese law firm for a few years, , Mr. Iijima went to Duke University Law School to study US intellectual property laws, and was enrolled in a US law firm in Washington D.C. Mr. Iijima also has an experience in working at Japan Patent Office, where he was engaged in legislative works for revision of Japan’s patent law and other industrial property right laws. Mr. Iijima set up a Japanese IP boutique firm called Innoventier in 2016, which handles both legal matters and prosecution, and has been heading the team.
