Prof. Francis Law is the Chairman of 10 International Dispute Resolution Institutes and Mediation Centers around the world. He is serving on the legal and dispute resolution expert panels of over 40 regions. He is the advisor to the Ombudsman and Expert Advisor to the Secretary for Justices of HKSAR Government.
Prof. Law is also the lead trainer and lead assessor of 40 universities and professional institutes. He has trained thousands of dispute resolution professionals, coaches and trainers. Prof. Law has been the guest speaker in over 500 forums, seminars and international conferences. He also assisted professional organizations in setting up the mediation and arbitration policies and mechanisms, designing training and qualification standards and formulating the disciplinary mechanism. Prof. Law has published over 100 articles and books in risk and dispute management and negotiation consultancy. He was actively involved in drafting the United Nations Convention on International Settlement Agreements Resulting from Mediation and has been the representative of WTO accredited Non-Government Organization since 2021. In 2023, Professor Law was appointed as the Hong Kong Convention Ambassador to promote Hong Kong's advantages as a metropolis center to the world in support to the role of Hong Kong as the “Super Connector” and “Super Value Enhancer”.
