Mylene Chan is a Consultant at East & Concord Partners and Visiting Faculty at Peking University School of Transnational Law. She trains arbitration and mediation for major arbitration centers and courts in China. Her past roles include Fellow at the International Institute of Conflict Prevention and Resolution (New York), Founders' Fellow at Mediators Beyond Borders International (Washington DC), and Project Consultant for Hong Kong International Arbitration Center and Hong Kong Mediation Center.
With over 20 years of experience as a transactional lawyer, Mylene has worked as an attorney-advisor at the US Securities and Exchange Commission, at Freshfields, Lovells and Simmons & Simmons in Hong Kong, Beijing, and Shanghai, and as counsel for listed companies in Hong Kong and the United Kingdom. She is also an arbitrator for the Beijing Arbitration Commission/Beijing International Arbitration Center.
