Attorney Shi Shumei is currently a Partner of Sunhold Law Office and the Executive Director of its Beijing Branch. She has been engaged in the legal profession for more than 20 years, with dual professional experience as Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of large central state-owned enterprises and practicing lawye. She also serves as an arbitrator for multiple arbitration institutions including Beijing Arbitration Commission/ Beijing International Arbitration Court and Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration.
Attorney Shi also has more than seven years of working experience at credit rating agencies, with in-depth knowledge of capital markets, especially the bond market. She has participated in and won awards in research projects initiated by the National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors (NAFMII) and Securities Association of China. She has published numerous articles in Financial Market Research, China Bond and China Money. She previously served as an expert panel member for disciplinary actions at NAFMII, a committee member of the Credit Rating Committee under Securities Association of China, and a member of the Credit Risk Management Special Committee of Insurance Asset Management Association of China.
