Ms. SUN Ying is an Assistant Professor at the Law School of Tongji University. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws from Tsinghua University, a Master’s degree in International Dispute Settlement from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, and a Ph.D. in International Law from the European University Institute. She has also served as a visiting scholar at the University of Cambridge and the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law. Her research has been published in leading international journals including the Journal of International Dispute Settlement and the Chinese Journal of International Law. Prior to her academic career, Ms. Sun worked in the International Dispute Resolution team at Han Kun Law Offices in Beijing, where she represented clients in numerous arbitration cases administered by the Beijing Arbitration Commission, China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, Singapore International Arbitration Centre, American Arbitration Association, as well as cross-border litigation cases before Chinese domestic courts, accumulating extensive practical experience in dispute resolution.
