Gianluca Faella is a professor of economy law at Università degli Studi Link of Rome, where it teaches competition law and economic regulation, and an adjunct professor of law and economics at Luiss University of Rome.
He is a counsel at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, based in Rome, where he specializes in competition law, economic regulation, intellectual property, and commercial litigation.
He was an adjunct professor of various subjects relating to antitrust, law and economics, and intellectual property at University of Siena, Federico II University of Naples, and Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna. From 2008 to 2012, he was research fellow at Luiss Guido Carli of Rome. In 2005 he completed a Ph.D. program in Law and Economics at Luiss University. In 2003 he obtained an LL.M. degree in Competition Law & Economics from Erasmus University of Rotterdam.
