Olga Bektibayeva is the Dean of MNU Law School at Maqsut Narikbayev University, and an accomplished legal scholar specializing in public law, legal education, and academic leadership. She earned her Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD in Law from the university with summa cum laude honors and was awarded the Presidential Scholarship of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
With more than 15 years of experience, Dr. Bektibayeva has held key academic and administrative positions at Maqsut Narikbayev University, including Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs, Head of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics, and Chief Researcher at the Research Institute for Criminal Procedure and Anti-Corruption. Since 2019, she has led MNU Law School as Dean and previously served as an expert for the World Bank’s Forensic Capacity Strengthening Project.
Dr. Bektibayeva’s research focuses on criminal procedure, anti-corruption, forensic science, and legal reform. She has authored more than 30 scholarly publications and has contributed to the development of Kazakhstan’s criminal justice system through parliamentary expert working groups.
